Master of Social Work

About Bennett

Bennett Ekmark is a Master of Social Work Graduate from the University of Georgia whose path to therapy was shaped by a genuine belief that everyone deserves to enjoy their life, and that sometimes all it takes is having the right person to talk things through with. Drawing on experience across community-based and clinical settings, Bennett brings a grounded, real-world perspective to the therapeutic relationship that clients of all backgrounds can connect with.

Bennett's approach is deeply collaborative. Rather than directing clients toward a predetermined destination, he walks alongside them to build a strong foundation of trust and rapport. Together, they work to find the path forward that makes the most sense for that person's unique life. He draws from an eclectic mix of modalities, including CBT, ACT, and person-centered principles, tailoring his style to what actually works for each individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all framework.

Bennett works primarily with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and emotional regulation. He creates a space where clients feel genuinely heard, and where the work of figuring things out doesn't have to feel so heavy.
